Our Speed product range is not limited to the following, since many problems can be solved by the combination of proximity sensors, counters, timers and controllers. However, the following products are specific packages targeted at speed monitoring applications:-

Speed Switches:
The PU1DR is a relay output unit incorporating a built-in proximity sensor. It is microprocessor controlled, with an automatic setting routine which determines both normal speed and start-up time. Setpoint is automatically determined at 80% of normal speed.

The PU1TZ does the same thing in an M30 2-wire package.

To make installation easier, Synatel’s Whirligig accessory only requires an M12 hole tapped in the centre of a shaft, and accepts both the switches above, as well as other M30 devices. Even better, the Magcon is a strong magnet ready tapped M12, suitable for magnetic attachment to a suitable shaft.
